For winter, Gianni Chiarini dresses its Marcella tote in wide-wale corduroy. In cognac, a warm reddish brown, the broad ribs catch the light and give the bag a soft relief; dark brown ostrich-print leather trims and the side knots complete the shape.

On the side, an ostrich-print leather pocket bearing the logo keeps a phone or keys at hand. Inside: a herringbone fabric lining, a zipped pocket and a patch pocket. Wear it with a beige coat, denim or a cream jumper.
